A Fresh Start...
You know, I’m a MacWhore, no doubt about it. But sometimes, Apple can really try my patience. Last night’s fiasco with OS X involved me having to shut down my computer in a very awkward way, which resulted in having to completely wipe my 80 GB iPod. Fortunately, I am not a dumbass, so the music was backed up in three spots for the most part. However, redoing the iPod is such a time consuming affair that it is at least a 5 hour project. At least. And of course, iTunes crashed at one point during my re-syncing, so now I’m not quite sure what made it and what didn’t. Sure, it’s always nice to wipe a piece of hardware clean and start over, but I would have at least liked a year to have passed between my iPod purchases before I had to.
